A public listing, a reader preview and a shared link answer different questions. Pick the situations you want side by side. “Unknown” means the evidence does not establish the answer.
| Reader question | This journal | Guest example | Shared link |
|---|---|---|---|
| What is visible? | Text metadata and guidance | Initial images were observed | Sharing dialog describes access to a draft |
| Is an account needed? | No account for this site | Login appeared after a preview | Not tested after enabling sharing |
| Is payment needed to read? | No charge for our text | Not established | Not established |
| Is full reading verified? | No stories hosted | No | No private link was enabled |
| Can a saved title grant access? | No | A bookmark cannot transfer login | Access depends on the creator's setting |
Showing all three situations.
The boundary of the guest observation
On 21 October 2026, a prior account check opened a real “Read Comic” destination, then tested that address separately as a guest. Initial images loaded and the interface later requested login. That establishes a preview and a login boundary for one example at that time.
The observation did not establish the title of that example, a paid reading requirement, the access state of our three listed records, or anonymous reading of a complete issue. We have not mapped its address to a catalog title. No direct story address is published here.
Use these questions at the destination
- Check that the title and creator match the record you intended to open.
- Distinguish a sign-in request from a payment request; they are different decisions.
- Read the current access and billing terms before accepting any charge.
- Keep a public story, a private draft and a creation tool separate when saving links.
The commercial workspace action on this journal opens the creation-tool route. It does not attest to reading access for any title.
